Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands is among the most recognised hospitality venues in the world. Neighborhood Carpet was engaged to install broadloom carpet across the hotel tower corridors, ballroom pre-function areas, and a series of meeting suites — totalling approximately 8,500 sqm.

All installation was carried out overnight to keep guest corridors and event spaces fully operational during the day. Our team coordinated closely with the MBS facilities and events scheduling teams to ensure no installation overlapped with booked events, managing dynamic scheduling across an 8-week programme.

The carpet specification met hotel-grade flame-retardancy requirements and was matched precisely to the existing design language of the interiors.

Challenge

An active luxury hotel cannot simply close corridors for installation. Every section had to be completed, inspected, and cleared before the morning shift. Our team managed the phasing dynamically — adjusting the sequence nightly based on the next day’s event bookings.
